Summary of a meeting with prof. Rybiński

A very interesting meeting with prof. Krzysztof Rybiński, a great expert in finance, former vice-president of the Polish National Bank and vice-governor of the World Bank, took place on Monday, June 27th. It was organized in cooperation with Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A.

In the first part of the meeting, professor talked about current state of Polish and European economy, he analysed factors shaping them and gave his prognosis in future shaping of Polish economy and budget. This part could be summed up shortly - optymism is rare these days!

A slightly more optimistic part concerned evaluation of the potential of Polish people: our speaker presented thesis of the Report on the Innovation of Polish Economy, although it didn't lack strong judgements as well.

Conclusions of the report were very interesting, intriguing and inspiring for many of the participants.

As ususal, the most interesting discussions took place behind the scenes, and we're still awaiting professor's recipe on how to activate the softer sex in Polish economy even more. Maybe we will find out during our next meeting...
